Your Telomere Health Matters
Science has discovered an exciting new biomarker of aging; telomere health. Telomeres are the protective caps of chromosomes that shorten due to normal aging and certain environmental factors. Telomere shortening has been linked to poor health and accelerated aging. Major contributors include:
- Oxidative Stress
- Exposure to Toxins
- Obesity
- Stress
- Poor Nutrition
What you can do?
Strategies for fighting oxidative stress and supporting telomere health include:
- Exercising Regularly
- Cleansing Away Toxins
- Consuming Nutrient-Dense, Reduced-Calorie Foods
- Nourishing the Body with Antioxidant Vitamins and Minerals the Help Neutralize Harmful Free Radicals.

7 Ways to Slow Down Anti Aging and Telomere Shortening
Telomeres are non-coding sequences of repetitive DNA at the end of chromosomes that are linked to human lifespan. Dr. Andrews and Anderson are seeking out natural compounds that will turn on expression of telomerase, an enzyme that restores the length of telomeres.
Keeping telomeres long by reversing age-related shortening can potentially slow the onset of poor health and increase human lifespan.
There are a few lifestyle changes we can make to slow down telomere shortening as much as possible.
In our interview with Dr. Andrews, a molecular biologist who has studied aging at a molecular level for more than 15 years, he shared seven of the best known ways science knows of now to slow down telomere shortening to live longer:
- Don’t ever smoke. Smoking is not only hazardous to your lungs and cardiovascular health, but is also found to increase rate of telomere shortening, which can lead to dysfunction and instability of chromosomes.
- De-stress your life. The more stress you have in your life, the greater risk of increasing the rate of telomere shortening and aging more quickly. How to slow it down? As simple as it might sound, the key is to always have a positive outlook on life. Plus, enjoy a Vacation once in a while, enjoy friends and social activities, receive plenty of sleep every night. Yoga and Meditation. Incorporate the 5 Pillars of Health.
- Exercise regularly. By increasing amounts of physical activity, especially intense physical activity involving some resistant weight training shows you could keep your telomeres long and healthy, and easing the effects of chronic stress.
- Get your antioxidants daily. When high amounts of free radicals attack cells, they leave no stone unturned making chromosomes and their telomeres vulnerable to shortening. You can best protect yourself by getting plenty of antioxidants in your diet from eating fruits and vegetables daily and supplements.
- Never go without fish oil. Fish oil contains long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that are well-known for being healthy to the heart, recent evience has shown that increasing amounts in the diet is associated also with slowing telomere shortening over time. You can get enough by eating fish a couple of times per week and by supplementing with long-chain omega-3s daily.
- Get enough of the “sunshine vitamin.” Several discoveries have made vitamin D the most popular nutrient of the decade because of its many benefits including an association with longer telomere length. You can make sure you’re getting enough by practicing safe sun exposure and supplementing with vitamin D daily.
- Practice safe weight loss. Maintaining a healthy weight is important to keep telomeres long. Incorporating Isagenix products into your weight-loss program such as cleansing and replacing meals with IsaLean shakes and bars is helpful for losing weight and slowing telomere shortening.
- Bonus Product B.

Do words make us old?
Have you ever looked through a child’s eyes? Followed where their eyes look with wonderment as if it’s the first time you saw whatever you are looking at? The pure pleasure, curiosity and alertness it provides when they have no words or judgements on it.
So do words make us old? I think they do, but they don’t have to…. here’s why:
When we learn how to speak and learn the names of everything, we have attached a “label” on each thing. When we label things, we tend to not “feel” it with any thought. We just acknowledge it as it is in most cases.
Here’s an example: When your a baby and you see a tree blowing in the wind, you hear the whistling of the leaves as they dance back and forth. You feel it, you become part of the experience of the tree because you have no words for you. But when you know it’s called a “tree” and you know “it’s windy”. You state it as a fact, and you move on forgetting the beauty and the magic in it.
Try this: Watch a tree for 2 minutes without defining what you are watching, just feeling it with no thought and no words, as if you are the tree and you will feel young and alive!

A 2-Minute Trick to improve your website ranking
Most people think that to improve website ranking you have pay a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist, and then wait six weeks to see any progress.
While I don’t dispute that having a professional working on your SEO could certainly improve your website ranking, there is one very simple thing you can do yourself, in less than three minutes that will significantly improve your website rank within the next two weeks.
What is Website Ranking?
Websites are ranked in order of most trafficked or most popular websites. The most popular (and thought to be most accurate) website ranking is called the Alexa Ranking and so that’s what we’ll focus on today. The lower your Alexa ranking number, the more popular your website (e.g. Google has an Alexa Ranking of 1, Facebook is 2, YouTube is 3 etc…) This is determined by gathering the browsing data from the millions of people using the Toolbar and calculates the traffic ranking of each site. You should install the Alexa Toolbar yourself, so that you can track your own Alexa website ranking).
Advertisers will pay big bucks to advertise on a site with a low (good) Alexa Ranking, because it means that the site gets a lot of visitors.
Improve Website Ranking with this 2-Minute Trick
When I first heard about this trick, I thought it was too good to be true – but was then amazed when my Alexa Rank dropped almost a million points… from more than 2 million to just over 1 million in a matter of weeks.
Step 1: Build an Alexa Widget for your site.
It’s easy to do, just enter your domain (www.yourdomain.com) and click the “Build Widget” button.
Step 2: Copy the code that Alexa generates
Step 3: Add the code to your website.
If you’re using a WordPress website, this is ultra easy. Just navigate to Widgets (in the Appearance menu), drag and drop a Text widget to one of your sidebars, paste in the code and click Save. (If you’re not using a WordPress site, drop the code between the <head> tags on your homepage).
That’s it… now just watch your website rank dramatically improve over the next few weeks
Try It For Yourself
Like I said, I was skeptical myself… and to be honest, I have absolutely no idea how or why it works. But I highly recommend you try it out for yourself and improve website ranking dramatically in a couple of weeks. If you don’t believe me, download the Alexa Toolbar today and track your ranking for two weeks before you install the widget.
If you combine this little trick with some good SEO practices and get in the habit of using Onlywire to release your new content to multiple social bookmarking sites simultaneously, you’ll begin generating some serious traffic – and more traffic means more sales for your business.

The factors that contribute to aging

Aging is a fact of life, but how quickly we age is not just a function of genetic disposition. How we choose to live, as much as who we are, can determine how we age and whether we will live a longer and healthier life. Factors that tend to accelerate the aging process-factors that we can control-include:
- Lack of regular exercise
- Poor dietary habits
- Failing to consume an optimal level of vitamins and nutrients
- Being overweight
- Failing to get enough sleep
- Failing to drink sufficient amounts of water
- Exposure to excessive amounts of stress
- Exposure to toxins
- Engaging in unhealthy habits (smoking, excessive drinking)
To increase your odds of living longer and living a better quality of life as you age, take control of your life and counter the factors that contribute to premature aging by adopting the following nine steps to a healthier life.
Exercise Regularly - Regular exercise and physical activity are key factors in maintaining health. Particularly with older adults, regular physical activity increases the chances of continuing to be able to do the things we enjoy and to remain independent. Studies show that regular exercise can benefit people with arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and diabetes. And exercise doesn’t have to be intense; find the right level of physical activity for you and do it regularly.
Adopt a Healthy Diet – Consuming a lower calorie diet rich in nutrients and fiber but low in fat and sugar is a key factor in maintaining a healthy weight and enhancing your quality of life. Eat a nutritious breakfast every day. Avoid sodas and drink lots of water. Eat lean foods low in fat and sugar and get lots of fiber and protein. Enjoy healthy snacks between meals.
Supplement Your Diet with Essential Vitamins, Minerals and Nutrients – As a consequence of current food processing techniques and mineral deficient soil, many of us are not getting the proper amount of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients essential to optimal health. And an optimal dose of essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients decrease the risk of chronic degenerative diseases linked to nutritional deficiencies. The combination of a healthy diet with daily supplements provides the best opportunity for optimal nutrition and health.
Maintain a Healthy Weight – Being overweight may put you at increased risk for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, some types of cancer, arthritis, and other chronic diseases. If you don’t know it already, you should know your BMI, or Body Mass Index, which measures your weight relative to your height. You should strive to maintain a BMI below 25, which is generally considered healthy. If your BMI is above 25, you may be considered overweight or even obese, conditions that increase your risk of health problems. Although we cannot control all of the factors that lead to weight gain, regular exercise and a healthy diet are key factors in maintaining a healthy weight.
Get the Proper Amount of Sleep – Adequate sleep in an essential factor in our well-being. Cell regeneration and cell growth occur primarily during periods of rest. Certain hormones critical to the proper functioning of the body are produced only during certain phases of deep sleep. If you have problems sleeping, or getting the proper amount of sleep, address them.
Drink Lots of Water - It is no secret that water is a key essential to life. What is less well known is that most of us don’t drink enough water on a daily basis. Every system in your body depends on water. Water flushes toxins out of vital organs, helps to carry nutrients to your cells, and provides fluids essential to bodily functions. Water also has no calories and is sugar free. How much water you should drink varies depending on a number of factors, including your health, how much you exercise, and where you live. But make sure you drink enough water every day.
Avoid Stress – Stress is a natural reaction to external factors, but failing to deal with excessive amounts of stress can lead to stomach disorders, shortness of breath, back pain, headaches and insomnia and, indirectly an increased risk of chronic degenerative disease that can lead to premature aging. The best approach to coping with stress, in addition to exercising stress management skills, is to exercise regularly, eat properly, and obtain proper amounts of sleep.
Reduce Exposure to Toxins – Exposure to toxins and chemicals in today’s world is unavoidable, but you can reduce your exposure to unhealthy levels of toxins and maintain a healthy lifestyle that supports the body’s natural ability to cleanse itself of toxins. Eating the right foods, particularly organic foods, avoiding excessive amounts of processed foods, and drinking purified water can help to reduce the amount of toxins your body takes in. And exercising regularly, staying hydrated, and getting the proper amount of sleep will help your body cleanse itself of toxins and chemicals harmful to your health.
Don’t Smoke; Only Consume Alcohol in Moderation - Smoking not only contributes to increased risk of chronic, life shortening degenerative diseases such as heart related illnesses, stroke, and cancer, but also is a key factor in premature aging and is associated with shorter lifespans. If you don’t smoke, don’t start. If you do smoke, stop.
Research indicates that excessive alcohol consumption can lead not only to an increased risk of degenerative disease that may shorten your lifespan, but also to an increased risk of premature aging, where the symptoms of aging appear earlier than normal or where the symptoms of aging are more pronounced than would otherwise be the case. If you drink, drink in moderation.
Research shows that aging is due to the cumulative effect of a number of factors; no single factor is the sole or even primary factor in how we age and how long we will live. Accordingly, there is no single product or magic bullet that can guarantee longer life. But you can-and should-take steps to increase your odds of living longer and healthier by taking charge of your life and following the nine steps summarized above.
